I want to show him how many of us actually do love Loki.

Well, maybe just because you consider your sister’s friends to be stupid, doesn’t mean every teen is. And of course older people have had time to go through school, but good grades and such does not equal intelligence. I’m not doubting that you yourself aren’t smart, but I know a considerable amount of college students who are by far less intelligent than, say, my high school friends.
A lot of adults do drugs and drink alcohol. Besides, though I don’t drink myself, that doesn’t mean you’re dumb. Maybe drinking irresponsibly, but drinking doesn’t equate stupidity, it’s how you handle it.
Intelligence is more about having an open mind, about not being ignorant and willing to consider new ideas. It’s about taking the time to educate yourself and having common sense.
Look at Rose Tyler. She didn’t go to university, but she’s one of the smartest, most capable fictional characters out there.
And one last thing… So many teachers that I have encountered, and just adults in general, act like teens are so far under them just because they’re older. Well, I’ve meet teachers who are idiots. I’ve met tons of adults who are idiots. It’s that idea that just because you’re young, you’re not as good as adults, which is majorly fucked up.
